    Teaching and Speaking :

Most of my Teaching and Speaking is at the bedside during COPD education, I also attend meetings at hospitals where we talk about how we an improve on COPD, improve on costs that COPD patients have for Skilled Nursing Facilities, prevent COPD exacerbations, improve on COPD mangement and prevent COPD re-admissions to hospitals before 30 days.

    Research Interests :

I have a variety of interets, there is so much that people do not know about COPD managment or care that I feel needs to be made aware of. I also feel that once a patient goes home, having respiratory therapists go to the house and focus on the needs of a patients care in the home setting then we can continue to provide patients with Respiratory Care beyond the Hospital and Skilled nursing care facilities. I am also interested in microbiological disease process that I would love to embark on if I had the means necessary. I have a passion and interest in children living with respiratory care needs, I believe that they are our future. If we can make an impact on them, if we can help them through their respiratory needs, then I believe that we could make an everlasting impression on our future generation. One of my other intrests includes more respiratory care in a school setting for children, providing them with education on things such as asthma and smoking affects.

    Philanthropic Initiatives :

I am an individual who is empathetic with my patients, I listen, I try to understand where my patients are coming from, my goal as a Respiratory Therapist is to provide optimal level of care that leaves my patiens feeling that someone does care and want to help them in their respiratory care needs. I feel that we all have needs that we wish people could understand where we are coming from and if we have someone that takes the time to listen and care then I believe that their needs could be met and resolved better this way.

    Attributes Success To:

I attribute my success to the way God has designed me to be. I attribute my success to the path and life events that God has set before me in life as I walk along my path in life. I believe we have all been designed to be good at something that we could use in life to help those less fortunate than ourselves. I have been blessed in life to learn easily, quickly and come up with resolutions in a timely manner. I have been blessed to understand things easily and explain them to patients in lamens terms. I have been raised in a family that has been blessed by God to exhibit love, caring, compassion and live in a way with intregrity and empthy for others. My succes is the life that God has destined me to live, a life that I go whereever God takes me.
