How do you try to make a difference in the lives of your patients?

I do my best to listen to each person I meet with to help them feel validated and comfortable trusting in this process. My goal is to create a safe environment where people feel their information will remain confidential and they feel supported processing life experiences.

    Attributes Success To:

I've been blessed to work with strong supervisors who have always encouraged me to want to learn and strive for more to better help the population I'm working with. While working at Bergen Regional Medical Center I worked with a director who supported me through undergraduate and graduate school which led to their suggestion to create an outpatient substance abuse program for uninsured youth. This specific person has been an imperative part to my personal and professional growth along with the team I was able to work with at that time. I've learned that coworkers and supervisors make a huge difference in building on confidence and I truly believe that those individuals are the reason I've continued to push myself to work hard for those I'm able to work with today. Growth is ongoing and I continue to reflect on experiences and lessons from those I was able to work with and those I continue to work with to feel more confident in maintaining my private practice.
