How do you try to make a difference in the lives of your patients?
Kevin Lance Jones, OMD, L.Ac. believes every patient should get full service and not be on a stopwatch. When he has a new patient Dr. Jones will give them a complete exam including Orthopedic and Neurological tests as necessary. Further, Dr. Jones comes up with an optimal treatment plan (subject to change to meet the needs of the patient), question their lifestyle issues such as: diet, supplements they take, what pharmaceutical medications they are using, exercise, obesity, systemic diseases, medical and family history and looking at their symptom array. I adjust anything that worsens their condition. Since most of Dr. Kevin Lance Jones' patients are in pain from sports injuries, traumatic injuries (auto accidents), or industrial accidents, most of the patients will be given exercise to restore the function to the affected area. Kevin Lance Jones, OMD, L.Ac. will discuss proper eating, appropriate vitamins, minerals, supplements and herbal medicines. Another thing that he does is called "Daoyin" which means to give psychological counseling, encouragement, building the patient's confidence to heal, helping the patient to relax and teaching the patient how to move properly for their condition and to assist recovery along faster.
