Kimberly Bro
Nurse
I am currently a nursing student at New Mexico State University. After nursing school I plan on furthering my education to become a CRNA or to go to Medical School to become a doctor. During my time at NMSU I have become an Honors Student, Crimson Scholar, and a National Collegiate Scholar from my academic achievements. In the fall of 2010 I also became a part of the Student Nurses Association and Chi Omega. In both of these organizations I work with other students doing fundraisers, volunteer work, and Chi Omega's Philanthropy Make A Wish. I spent my sophomore year abroad in England for my first semester and in Sweden for the second semester. While I was there I finished my nursing pre-requisites. When I was abroad I was able to experience a completely different way of life then what I was used to. I was able to explore new cultures and learn how people from that country lived their day-to-day lives. Not only did I just get to see how people lived I was also able to experience their universities and the differences in how they are taught in comparison to the universities in the United States. Being abroad for that year was definitely my greatest experience.
