How do you try to make a difference in the lives of your patients?
Time is the one thing no one seems to have enough of, and most patients feel they don't get enough of when they go to the doctor's office. Time is the most valuable commodity I can provide my patients, followed by knowledge.
Professional Society Memberships :
National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants
Attributes Success To:
I care for my patients as if they were a family member -- my own grandparent, father/mother; brother/sister; spouse; son/daughter. I try not to forget what it feels like to be a patient -- as we are all patients, but sometimes we as providers forget what it feels like when we go to the doctor's office.
Educating my co-workers and patients is a critical component of good patient care in my personal opinion. I make it a point to try and teach a co-worker and each of my patients "some thing" each day.
